Welcome to Data Journalism at John Cabot University

Welcome to the blog of the Data Journalism module at John Cabot University, Rome. Created and led by Dr Helton Levy, the course had its debut in Spring 2022. Data Journalism at JCU has the purpose of teaching students how to read into datasets and tell stories without losing the human agency behind what we call data. Each post represents a classroom exercise made of numerical and textual data. By sharing our learning steps, it is possible to benefit other students and bring fresh ideas to enhance data journalism as an accessible practice. Contact: hlevy@johncabot.edu
